From Cessnas to Pipers

About how long would it take for a guy used to Cessna 152/172s to transition to a Piper Warrior? Any advice for those who have done it? I just want to try something new. Thanks for any help!

not long at all. A few hours maybe.

Maneuvers will be easy to get used to, maybe just one run through them all. Landings will feel really hard compared to the Cessna. Cessnas of course have the spring steel gear, while pipers have oleo struts. Don't feel bad if your landings feel hard.

I'd say an hour. I've owned both. The biggest thing is a Warrior lands much different than a 172, towards the end. Not a big thing to get used to, though. It's easier to go to a Warrior than from a Warrior to a 172. You'll find the Warrior easier to land.
