Check out www.jetcareers.com

There is some Sierra stuff there and a huge thread on their alter ego up in Atwater where they train foreign pilots.

I've heard some pretty good stuff about them, and I'm thinking about instructing for them too.

Instructing there is good, from what people have told me.

I think they are moving from the Livermore location soon....just a rumor.

Atwater (where sierra is located) is not really "bay area". It's about 2.5 hour drive and little over an hour of flight using Cessna 172.

If you want to work, sleep...and work and repeat that over and over, Atwater may just be the place for you. In another word, there aint nothing to do there. Atwater sort of remind me of Desert in Arizona.

Sorry, not much info about Sierra these days. I went there 7 years ago when it was located in Oakland.

It's pretty much the same. There is nothing around Atwater, pretty boring. But if you want to fly alot and build time quickly, its a pretty good CFI job to have. The pay is not too shabby either.
