I just don't think i would be good at teaching instrument flying since theres so much more to it than the private pilot. I might end up changing my mind later.

I'd rather teach Instrument students. Right now, I'm teaching both Private/Instrument (combined) and Instrument students. There's absolutely no question which I'd rather have. Instrument suits my personality better, plus, if you want to go airlines, it helps you build a solid base of IFR experience for later on.

plus instrument students are less prone to messing up stuff and losing your licenses and/or kill you =p

Maybe. They don't usually go solo, so you get to watch them, but those first few trips into IMC can be wild if they aren't prepared. That and much of their time is spent in the ATC system. Usually you can trust their flying abilities, but you really have to watch their decisions and the weather conditions.

I had more instrument students screw up and nearly kill me than private students. Instrument students know just enough to be dangerous and they usually get a little sloppy on the basics.

really? Hehe, well I don't know first hand, just the general impression I got from the instructors I know.
