ATP Written

I was wondering where I could access more ATP Written practice tests aside from the one at the back of the Gleim book???

are you looking for free test prep or would you consider paying a few bucks?

p.s. is it for your dispatcher or is it for the actual ATP?

The Gliem includes ALL the questions the test bank I believe. The FAA actually only uses about 700 of the questions on the actual test (they rotate them out periodically).

You want to find a practice test where the vendor has made an effort to identify which 700 questions are currently in use by the FAA...this narrows things down for you a great deal.

ATP flight school has a computer-based training system which does that. You work through the CBT and take the actual test the same day, but you pay 300 bucks.

I heard there is a vendor who sells a software package that has the questions narrowed down also. Don't know the name, but the product info should state that question bank has been narrowed down.

Free test prep, website that has randomly generated tests....

I bought the King DVD course and Gleim 2008, just wanted to take a few more practice tests before the real thing.

And no, I'd rather not spend any more money........

Sorry, the test is for the ATP 121.

If you're willing to shell out the $300, just go to ATP. I needed my written done quick and hassle free so I dragged myself down to ATP one Saturday. I was in at 8am and out by 2pm without cracking a book before getting there. Two quick practice runs and a thorough memorization of the performance problems and I was done. 91% (not too high, not too low). The $300 was a complete ripoff unless you think about the fact that you'll never have to buy the Gleim book, pay for some additional prep/practice tests, and it only eats up one day outta your life. That's how I justify it at least...

Edit - After actually reading your responses, I got nothing for ya. But for those that haven't already blown the cash on getting ready for this thing, I suggest just doing the ATP deal.

sheppardair has the narrowed down version, 75 bucks, i used it and got a 96

Go to ATP and do their course. You could go in there cold turkey, and still come out with a passing grade. Better to do it on your day off, and have it take 1 day...rather then spending weeks and weeks studying your butt off.

I'm going with Dauntless Software, I really just need a few random practice tests.
