Cheapest Way to 1000 hours?

Be really rich and buy 1000 hours of time at your local FBO.
Banner tow, but you'll never get any instrument, cross country, or night time. You could crop dust, see the above. Then again, those jobs are few and far between for low timers these days because of insurance minimums.
Or, you could flight instruct.

Or find a someone who flys corporate single pilot and get on your knees and beg to fly right seat. Tell him you'll cover your own expenses if you have to. A hotel room is a lot cheaper than buying hours.

Thread title and question in first post are different, and require different answers.
Cheapest way is to use the ballpoint pen you already own and start writing.
Best way is to open every door that opportunity knocks on. The best way is not always the fastest way, but it is the way that will provide you the most valuable experience. After all, while the hours in your logbook are important, the experience is far more meaningful.
What's your beef with instructing?
- The truth only hurts if it should -
