Atp Fll

Does anyone have any info on ATP in FLL? I've been to a small mom and pop training facility before and the instructors were more into flying for time rather than training. Is it like that at ATP? Do they have a sufficient amount of aircrafts/sim/etc? Just working on multi comm and ipt. Any advise would be greatly appreciated....

Hey Ace, I had the same experience you had and wondered about ATPs reputation. Look further along the flight school thread on this site. I found my answer there.

the FLL location isnt good for what you are working on... they mostly train ATP (rating) students... there arent many instructors (max I saw was 2) and most of what goes on down there are MEI checkrides... The Stuart (SUA) location (just a little ways north) is better suited to multi, comm, and instrument...

Would you happen to know which location would be best suited to getting the instructor ratings?
