ERAU to discontinue CAPT
 

The article says several CAPT grads are flying 747s (yes, seven FORTY sevens). Anybody know anything about THAT??

I think a few had opportunity as 747 FE's for a non-sked in South FL, in time that may have turned into a right seat opportunity. Maybe someone more familiar with the program could chime in. I don't think that the 747 position was a direct result of the Capt. program.

CAPT graduates that get hired by Focus Air will work first year as flight followers and/or some other capacity. Second year, they go through FE training and fly the FE position for their second year. After that, they may be moved to the right seat in their third year. I think the agreement has language that doesn't guarantee right seat, it implies "possible" right seat.
