Default What is smarter?

I am currently taking my last year of Law (bachelor's begree) LLb, as I was previously planning on becoming a Lawyer but ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a pilot. I have been looking at alot of different flight schools trying to find one in the United States (im from Canada) that accepts International or atleast Canadian students, and saw quite a few that differ substantially in the hours they give you even with all your ratings. So I guess my question is, is it easier to go to a flight school that doesn't give you quite as many ME, and MEI hours and guarantee's you a job as a flight instructor, or to find a school that offers you upto 200 hours ME. Thanks alot.

The best way to get your ratings is the generally the cheapest way. 200 multi will not get you as far as it did six months ago. I would go to an FBO get all of my ratings there in the least expensive airplane and then get my multi add-on.

You can always get your ratings on the side while you pursue law. Think hard and read more about aviation before ditching the law degree.

You could talk to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo MI I know that they did have international students, but I would have to agree with the person above, keep the law degree going and get a plane on the side with your lawyer buddies.
