I just say that FBO's aren't all bad, there are some good ones out there just hard to find I suppose. I really have no experience with ATP, but on paper it doesn't seem like a bad deal compared to other big flight schools.

I agree, they do sound decent. I just chose a different route that fitted me better.

How can they guarantee a set price? Isnt it an individual proficiency thing? I mean some people takelonger than others to develop the skills and the knowledge. How can you say "It will cost $4,000 for your private? You may take a little longer to get S-turns within PTS and it will cost more. SO I dont understand how you can garantee that a person is going to finish in X amount of hours.
