AcuWings or Pavco. Galvin (also at BFI) probably won't give you the time of day unless you train with them. They have Diamond aircraft which are having parts-supply issues (engine company went under) and recently had a gear up ax with one of their twins so who knows if they will stay a flight school or shift operations over to more charter.

Spanaflight too. Love them.

Started flying at spanaflight then went to college at cwu for the rest of my training. Midstate has some interest in me but they just hired like 5 new instructors. The diamond twin of galvins land gear up with two faa employees in it. I wonder if they still have a job with the faa?

Crest airpark as an indepentent. Not sure how it works there.

If you have the quals, try BEFA at Renton. Great fleet, and I think the CFI's are independent.

Thanks for the help. My college contractor didnt hire me because they said they had enough cfi for the up coming school year. They hired a previous cfi that was at horizon and was a check airmen then he went to continental and got fourloaded and is going back to being a cfi. hard time for a little guy.

they also hired people that have never flown an airplane besides from there. I think they would hire people that go and rent planes and fly for fun on the weekends.

Wings puts their salaried CFIs to work as handy men and janitors when they don't have students. You're also a Resident Advisor to the Indian students who have no concept of how to clean an apartment or pick up after themselves.

If you want to be a cfi in seattle than you better have a sugar momma or another part time night job cause the weather is terrible and the flying is slow... I would go to AZ or Cali but I got the sugar and a part time job and Im in no rush to get the hours since the hiring is ganna be frozen for a long time.. If you want to make money flying during the winter, then stay away from Seattle.. but if the Pac NW is where you want to be come up to Paine Field in Everett, we have Northway Aviation (great fleet) or Regal (not so great fleet but great place) but I think Regal is looking for CFI's..
