RMI and ADF trainers
Hello all, just curious if there are any good RMI and ADF trainers out there to start getting the hang of them. I am a CFII and just have never flown a plane that utilizes either of these and I think I could figure them out with a decent sim and a couple books... Anyone know of anything on the internet?

Hey Rick,
Try this trainer, it helped a lot when I was working on my instrument and CFII. Very basic, but you can move the station and aircraft around and switch between VOR, RMI, ADF etc. Tim's Air Navigation Simulator |
microsoft flight sim has rmi.

I'll vouch for Tims Airnav, great stuff. There also used to be a site of something like professionalpilot.ca but I've been having trouble bringing it up. It had a great ILS/VOR tutorial as well as ADF/RMI stuff.
