Post any good quality flying school in florida? help!

hi there,

i'm looking to be a professional airline pilot and want to get into a school in florida. Money is not really a problem but i don't want to waste it anyway.
I've looked around and there are so many of them...
I need Help!!! please

somebody told me Flight Safety Academy is one of the best school of the world but also not the cheapest at all.
I've read on the forum to not go for the airline school such as Delta connection, Gulfstream, etc...

What about Epic fligh academy? anyone heard of it?
and Jet University ?
and Falcon Flight sanforf?
europe-american aviation?

i'm getting really confused... please help me

I also have another question:
Since i am French, ultimately i would like to go work in europe. So should i do a FAA & JAA course in the same time like some schools offer it? (Europe Flight training & Naples AIr center both in florida as well)

thank you very much to all you for helping me in this difficult step....

As for JAA schools, the prices and effort will be higher, but probably well worth it in the long run, as Europe will remain a good place to make money as a pilot, even if they go below poverty limits over here.
I have heard good things about this provider:
Naples Air Center - Home
and this one is actually a bunch of very cool people:
JAA Pilot Flight Training - Pilot Training College Ireland - professional pilot courses honours BSc degree level

Crystal Aero Group in Crystal River Florida is a great school. They do 141 or 61 training..

thanks careerCFI for your answer. Naples Air center is in the selection of schools i made. Regarding PTC Ireland, i heard of it at the Flight Safety Academy in their FAA to JAA conversion program.

What about Epic Flight academy? they really seem alright but it's hard to say just by looking at their website and judging their emails... however they are the only one to have a guarantee fixed price with a 30day money back policy.

Anyone got feedback about Flight Safety Academy?

Bodarek2007,
Im a former FlightSafety Academy Graduate and also instuctor at the academy. I started going to flight school at Delta Connection academy and after i finished my Commercial Single engine, i left the school since they were ripping me off and for the lack of proffesionalism. I would have to say, since working at flight safety i would deffinetly recommend them to anyone. If you want to do your JAA, i would recommend getting all your FAA ratings first and then do a JAA conversion, it would save you time and money, plus you would also have both ratings that you could use. They operate a great fleet of aircraft and are pretty much the only flight school that uses their Multi-engine aircraft for the bulk of theri training. After you get your Private rating, you start the second phase which is all time building (local/cross country solos and also commercial manuevers), Steps 3-5 are all in the multi engine. By the time you are done, you will have about 70-80 hours of multi time. Most other flight schools only give you about 20-25 hours of multi for about the same price. If you have any guestions, feel free to ask, id be glad to answer anything or alteast point you in the right direction.

Also, Flight Safety works with PTC of Ireland and has a huge training contract with them. PTC sends their students their to get their Private license. So something to think about.

Thanks for the reply,
but 30k just for the JAA conversion seems a bit expensive to me... but i don't know i could still take the CPL course at FSA and do the conversion somewhere else... How are the housing facilities at FSA & is it included in the price of the CPL course?
And regarding the numbers of multi time at FSA it's not really clear on the info sheet how many hours you really get.

Otherwise i'm still wondering if it wouldn't be better/easier to do both JAA & FAA in the same time like they offer at Naples Air Center... even though it would take more time (52 weeks at NAC against 34+3 at SFA & PTC)...

I'm open to suggestions...

P.S: still looking for some feedback about EPIC....

Check out Career Pilot School (Career Pilot School). Not in Florida, but smaller school that specializes in one-on-one instruction and customized programs.
