Default Online and Flight training at local FBO

I see it has been awhile since anyone has posted to this thread. I was wondering if anyone took the online route and obtained flight training at their local FBO? I am interested in doing the 2yr A.S. program while doing my flight training at a local flight school in Clarksville, Tn. Later moving my AS to a BS in Information Technology. Any ideas, thoughts, opinions?

They offer traditional (classroom) and online versions of most of their classes.

They operate mostly Diamond aircraft. Most of the instructors are very good. The training is part 61, but they do things very similar to 141, like stage checks.

Someone mentioned the scenery. It's beautiful, the airport is right next to Utah lake. There are big mountains all around. During the winter there will be a few days where it's solid IMC. The other seasons you can fly almost everyday. Provo/Orem is a total college town and it was a fun place to go to school.

One big benefit of going to a flight school associated with a college or university is it makes getting financial aid a lot easier.

If all you want is to get you ratings you might be better off at an accelerated program like ATP, or even your local FBO. If you want to earn a four year degree at the same time you do your flight training I think UVSC/UVU is a very good option.
Is it possible to get all your ratings at UVU and major in something else? Do you think it would be better to major in the aviation science or something else while getting your ratings there
