Hillsboro Aviation?

Anybody know anything about Hillsboro Aviation near Portland, Oregon? Apparently they are in need of Instructors.

Yeah I finished my flight ratings there.... you'll definately get alot of hours but there's a reason they post on climbto35O.. They have alot of turnover due to the working hours. they expect you to be there 6days a week and 12hrs a day. If your willing to do that then by all means go for it...
They have training agreements with JAL,SAL and TAL. with that being said you wont have to find students instead students will be given to you.

I've been trying to get with them. But I don't have with my CFII or MEI yet. I was thinking I might have a chance, since they been posting jobs on the internet everyday.

Yeah, I knew it sounded too good to be true, it's a thought anyway. Thanks for the info.

Well as long as you have your CFI done they provide free CFII ground and MEI ground training. In return you have to commit to 1yr agreement... Which you might as well do since you dont get any health or medical benefits from them unless you've been employed with them for more than a year.

I want to work there. How much do they pay?

Wingman97 10-02-2008 09:03 PM

I think its 9.00 per flight hour and minimum wage for ground.

That is rough.

That's sad and pathetic.
