Default HELP! - Need to find a flight school in Southern CA

Hello,
I've done tons of research on schools in Southern California (I work close to SNA and live close to LGB) but keep getting different stories from different people. I have already been burned by two schools and wasted tons of moola. Please recommend schools that are worth my time and money.

Thank you!!

ATP flies out of Long Beach. You can also go check out the Long Beach Flying Club, which is where I did some of my flight training. Rates are fairly cheap and they offer Financial assistance. Both are good schools and more importantly are out of LGB.

I fly out of the Long Beach Flying Club and would definitely recommend it.

well, which schools were you burned by? That will at least give us a start. And I second the recommendation for the Long Beach Flying Club.

The first flight school closed down, Lenair, and the second wasn't the schools fault, just a teacher that goes out of town, A LOT.

Are the teachers good at the Long Beach Flying Club? Will they help me get my training DONE. I feel like I've been wasting so much time this past year and a half.

Unfortunately, I have to stay within the L.A./Orange County area since I will need to keep my full time job while I go to school.
