A colleague and myself from London Metropolitan University will be at this exhibition and will be able to discuss how to achieve either the JAA ATPL Licence or Aviation Management Degree.

These courses can be completed either full time or by distance learning.

If you have any queries then post them here and I will try and answer your questions

Just curious about JAA licensing, How much do you think I'll spend if I've been flight instructing for a little while? I heard that they also have other ratings that are neccessary for work in Europe, like an safety rating, is that true?

First of all.

You will have to complete the full 14 examinations for the groundschool.

If you have a CPL then you need training to test which is decided by the school you choose. You can comlete this by Distance Learning.

The IR then needs to be completed.

The cost is lreally very little less than starting from scratch. You don't say which licence you hold - but if you do not have residency rights in the EU then finding a job will be nigh on impossible.

Hope this helps
