Default Can't decide between schools

I'm looking into flight schools & am looking into Air Safety flight academy, Delta COnnection Acad., & ATP. If anyone has gone to any of these schools, I would like to know if they're worth the price. Is one better than the other? Do you actually get jobs quicker after going to these schools than at an FBO? I'm currently working on my private. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

lots of threads like this, I would advise you stick it out at your FBO for your ratings through your commercial at least. It will probably be cheaper especially if they offer part 141 commercial and instrument courses plus no matter where you go you will take the same checkride. I couldn't tell what any of these schools are like other than they are accelerated programs which means you will have to be extremely motivated and when you finish will be on your shoulders.

definitely stay at your local fbo. those other places are just out for one thing, your money. you'll probably pay close to twice as much going to one of those places as a regular fbo. like the previous poster said, stay local through commercial, then maybe go to a place like that for cfi, since you will have a better chance of getting a job instructing there. as far as helping you get a job, what a joke. those places could care less about helping you find a job. hope this helps.

Prairie Air Service, Inc I did IFR thru MEI in 11 weeks (a long, long, time ago). I just saved you 20-30K over the schools you listed...wasn't that easy?

I agree, stay with your FBO.

Thanks everyone for your input. I might stay at my FBO. I do like my instructor. It'll just take a lot longer to finish, though & I do have a good paying job right now.
