Applying for transfer to MSCD

As the title says, Im considering going to Metro State Denver. Just want to hear from others on what the school is like? Was looking at the out of state tuition, and its not bad, $5K for 12 credits. Just want to know:
1) Are they fair in giving in state tuition rates after a year
2) How are the classes and teachers?
3) What about the flight training to get my CFI/II/ Multi since the school doesn't own their own aircraft?
4) Any other relavent info
I grew up in the Denver area, and am wanting to return home, however Im considering going active duty, and going to Fort Calrson since I'd get duty station of choice. Im reluctant to do online courses.
