SWA Internship

Anyone know how favorable a southwest airlines internship looks on the resume. Obviously it cant hurt. But given the opportunity to fly for a regional airline or to do a southwest airlines internship (future aspirations are to fly for SWA), what is one to do...... tough one

Did you get lucky or what??

I'd do the internship if I were you. Even if it means delaying your entry into a regional slot by half a year or more. Very few people have this opportunity, so take it.

How did you get this internship anyway?

no final word has been given yet, I'm just looking at this situation in a very very optimistic light. I've been in close contact with the College Coordinator, but like I said no final word has been given yet, so it means nothing. Any advise you could offer for someone seeking the internship position? I was told it looks "favorable" to have that if you apply to SWA down the road for a pilot slot, but nothing is garunteed. THanks
