FAA test questions rewrite
#11
WOW! If true, I'm not so happy since I was planning on taking the CFI's written in January or February. Hmm......Like the post above, I also was about to order a course from either King Schools or Gleim. Luckily I have not placed my order yet.

Any update on this??? I am very curious to know if that is true. I am going to be taking the CFI exam within the next couple of months and will be quite aggravated if this turns out to be true. It seems highly unlikely though, in my opinion, but it would be great to confirm that. At least I took the CFII one when I did my IFR test!

So I was going to take the ATP written with AllAtp's because I can do it for $200 (the one good thing about being furloughed). Am I wasting my money now if they do not have the full test bank to "study" from?
Am I better off just studying from my 2007 ASA test prep book with the 2008 and 2009 updates???

I really dont think they have changed the test bank in 2009. Just had three students take the commercial, instrument, and private all this week and they said the questions were the same.
And plus, let's get serious here, even if the FAA talked about changing the test and test bank, it would talk a minimum of 5 to 7 years (it's an extremley efficient government organization)

That's a very good point you have there. If the questions were going to change this year we would have heard about it being in the works years ago. It sounds like enough people have confirmed that they are still the same as the test bank! What a relief.
