According to the Practical Test Standards, you need to be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language.

Second, take a look around here. There's a fourm called "flight training". Check that out.

Third, everything in life is a gamble. There are no sure things regardless of industry. If you want a sure thing, play the lotto.

If you want to make "profits" and have a very secure career with no layoffs and a secure retirement I 'll advice you to stop flying, go get and MBA a become part of the leeches that populate the airline managemnt environment.

by doing that, you can go for carrier to carrier ****ing things up and being rewarded for doing so for the next 35 years

does that help?

Hey bluffmaster. I know a feller named Bucky who lives just south of the bayou over on Mellonbom Drive yonder from Lake Houston that has started a ab-initio program of bringin young-ins into the business. He is a little backed up now as his cousin Peggy, who is also his wife, struck a prop with a heffer, or was it the other way around. Anyway, His uncle Cleatis who is peggy's father, runs the fillin station is straaatenin it up and it will be gud as nue soon. His 12 year old daughter is awesome trweakin the plane if'n she would ever get home before midnight from her dates. I swear that girl has no concept of time. Her brother works at a watch shop and you'de think that between the two of them they could get home on time. Cleater, as he is affectionately called by his friends also has a retirement plan that he has graciously agreed to let all new students in on. It's called the soggy bottom A fund supplemented with the revenuer 89 proof portfolio. The returns haven't been that good but who really gives a ****sky about the whiskey.... I flew with one of his students the other day and aside from the coveralls and straw hat he did a pretty spoofy job. You know you have to seek alternative career paths these days as all the uneducated folks are lining up over at Southwest, Continental, American and other "on the way out" airlines. Just think you could be in in the ground floor. captain Bluffmastar, Miss Peggy Airlines - kind of has a ring..Seriously! No, really! American Eagle is negotiatin right now to get er done. How would it be to be numero uno on the who's been here the longest list???
