I second that. I started flying from the right seat on my CPL as well (given my cpl training was only 30 hours, but still). Saved me some lessons on my part 61 CFI-ME course

I started flying from the right seat while time-building to get up to 250TT. It has made working on my CFI (which I am doing currently) so much easier! I think that is great advice.
