Some bad news, AA is not going to be hiring any time soon. Usually after people go to college, they are anywhere from 21-25 yrs old when they get a job with a regional. If you are under 30 years old and with SWA, FedEx, UP, Frontier or Continental, consider yourself to be lucky.

Yea edik is right AA won't be hiring for a long long long time. A long time. They might not even be around in the next few years. They won't be buying any more planes till 2013. And their cheaper fuel contracts will end by end of this year. AA is kind of like that half destroyed WW2 bomber trying to fly back to base, while getting rid of their guns and ammo and using broom sticks for guns instead, and flying on fumes. Expect to be at a regional to do your time for 5+ years then you can transition to other types of flying.
