One more tip, when going for the checkride, make sure your PTS is worn out, dog-earned, pages bent, and generally looking very well used. The same with the FOI.

The best way to get the well-read look to those books is by reading them, studying them, and getting a good working knowledge of them. Handing them to your dog won't work as the examiners can see right through teeth marks, unless they are your own. :D

How's the studying coming along?

Hey Airframe,

Did you get your CFI? I too am about to begin studying as soon as I get my commercial (hopefully next week). Any recommendations?

I have my cfi ride on September 2nd. Thanks for the info since there is so much to study for.

Best of luck guys!

No, I had some money/time issues for a while but I should be able to finish the commercial cert in the next month. Then I guess it's on to the ME add on or the CFI.
