Atp Cfi

It works. It is a busy two weeks for some, not for others, but people accomplish it all the time.

What is a typical day like during the CFI II MEI program?
Do you learn alot or is it like buying your CFI II MEI tickets?
Do you feel ready to teach when you are done?
When you do instruct at ATP, do you have to find students or do they just give you students?
Is instructing challenging at ATP? Is there alot of structure?
How are ATPs aircraft maintained as far as maintenance? Ever had any big problems?
Are there sims and FTDs at all locations? specifically Atlanta and Jacksonville?

Yes
No, but you would be suprised how much you actually know.
They give you students.
It is not challenging, and yes there is alot of structure.
They have good maintenance, I have never had any major problems with any
aircraft.
There is a sim at every location if I am not mistaken. At ATL they have a FRASCA and in JAX they have 3 sims I think. FRASCA and AST-300.

It's been a while since I've done the program, but I'd recommend it for anyone.

What is a typical day like during the CFI II MEI program? The first few days were strictly ground. And the rest were mixed with reviews and flying. I was in the first program in Atlanta, so things weren't particularly in order, but amazingly it lasted the 15 days and a flight with 5 different flight instructions. The spin training was done in 1 day. You get a chance to practice teaching Vmc.
Do you learn alot or is it like buying your CFI II MEI tickets? You learn quite a bit. Just be able to back up your knowledge with text (airplane flying handbook, far's, etc)
Do you feel ready to teach when you are done? Absolutely.
How are ATPs aircraft maintained as far as maintenance? Ever had any big problems? The planes are very well maintained, never had any problems.

Have you tried Ari-Ben Aviator in Ft. Pierce, FL or Skymates in Texas?
