switched schools

After about a month of not flying due to a problem in the school, I decided to make the switch. It was hard because I have 25 hrs and I am just beginning to get the hang of it. It was also hard to say goodbye to my flight instructor. I didn't realize this until I had to make the decision. I mean, this is the guy who taught me how to fly, stall, recover, land etc. I really looked up to this person, I thought of him as extraordinary because of his skills, and most of all, he seemed very calm and routine about what might seem like !#@$#@%@#$% for some people. I hated to do it, but from my perspective I couldn't wait any longer...
On the other hand, I won't be paying $135 an hour for the $172, now I will be paying $94. This means, I could fly more often. I truly hope this would be an easy transition. I wonder how I will do after not flying for a month...A rough start, but I hope things go smoothly from this point.

Sounds like you made the right decision, for a $40/hour discount.

Might take a flight or two to knock the rust off but you will be fine after that.
Sounds like a good decision on your part though. As you go through your training you will have different instructors, some better than others and you should take some of their good qualities so you can become like them and hopefully better.
