Default 340A time and High Altitude Endorsement

If you want to get some 340 time and your High Altitude endorsement let me know - I need to pair people up in order to do it and my flight school has given permission for a fixed rate for a limted time. Anyway if you are interested send me an email or pm - not trying to advertise anything here, just a cool opportunity for some really cheap 340 time and HA endorsement.

What is the price that you are looking at so the other users can get an idea? A reminder to those looking at getting into the airlines is that pressurized or not 340/402/414/421 time looks no different than PA44 time in your logbook unless it was single pilot IFR ops.

However...if it is cheap it would at least be a fun plane to fly and a new experience.

Its $700 flat fee - takes about 3 flight hours. Yes the airlines may not look at 340 time as being different then Seminole but the 340 is a cabin class pressurized turbocharged twin so other non-airline ops look at it as being different. Plus its a fun airplane to fly and you wont get the Seminole up to FL250+

I don't think any low time person adding hours in anything will help them. Some good experience in a twin-cessna won't hurt though, tons of those out there, and they all fly relatively the same, and share a ton of systems.

You can get altitude training and (I think) an endorsement for the asking from any Air Force Base equipped with an altitude chamber. It's not aircraft specific training, but the price is right.

You can get the ground training there but not the flight portion.

You can if they have a chamber.
