Cost of Upgrade training on a lear 35.

Hey, I was SIC typed on a lear jet and am still current until May. I was wondering what the cost would be to get the PIC type and where the cheapest place too get it would be?

Thanks

call me crazy, but if i were gonna buy a lawnmower, i'd probably call places that sell lawnmowers and see how much they were. especially if it were an expensive lawnmower. i guess i would also do the same thing if i were going to buy a bathtub or a lear type.

Simcom in MCO will be your best bet.

Call them and tell them you are recently unemployed, and I think they'll try to work a deal with you.

Just called SimCom 10 day upgrade is 9400.00 and that is with a 15 percent discount.

Any one know of anywhere cheaper?

Thanks

I don't think there is anybody cheaper than Simcom.

There isn't a need for a 10 day upgrade since you've been flying the airplane; I'd think they could get you in a 3 or 4 day recurrent with a checkride on the end and that'd be just fine.

Call them back and tell them what you want and what you can afford, and see if they'll work with you...Simcom is FAR more flexible than either Simuflite or FlightSafety.
