Earning com-multi at ATP with VA benefits

I received an email or some magazine the other day that has an advertisement for commercial multi rating at ATP for $1995. A little more investigation tells me that this course is two simulator sessios and two flight sessions in a PA-44, then it's furnished to you for your checkride over a period of four days. Ground instruction and all flight manuals and their multi study guide is included.

Does anyone know if the VA will reimburse for this course? Normally it's a 60% reimbursement, but not sure if this course is accepted.

Also, what if more instruction, ground or flight is required, how is that billed?

Thanks for the input.

I don't remeber exactly how the VA stuff worked when I was instructing there but I'm pretty sure the VA didn't cover anything at ATP except for checkride costs.

I'd just call ATP and ask, they get VA questions quite often.

And they just have a rate per hour for extra instruction, but I don't know what it is for the Seminoles.

The rule used to be (and I think still is) that VA benefits were only able to be used at part 141 schools....and, unless something has changed, ATP is part 61.
