Flight Training Clarksville, Tn

Just wanted to know if anyone has attended, instructed at Volunteer Aviation at Outlaw Airfield in Clarksville, Tn. Also I would like to know (in general) the pros and cons of training at a local FBO vs. Academies such as AllATPS.
