General Knowledge test (Privet)

Here in about two weeks I'm looking to go for my general Knowledge test. I was wondering what is allowed and not allowed for the test, I have read thought AC#60-11c, and I'm still confused on whats allowed and not allowed.

p5(a) a. Applicants may use test aids, such as
scales, straightedges, protractors, plotters, navigation
computers, log sheets, and all models of aviation oriented
calculating devices that are directly related
to the test. In addition, applicants may use any test
materials provided with the test.

That pretty much sums it up,
A Flight Computer
Plotter / whiz wheel
And a Pencil should be good enough...

The nav charts, perfomance tables are provided by the testing center, as well the flight computer and plotters, but bring your own.. they are 10 millions different types of plotters; dont want to get stuck with one you dont know how to use. G'luck

You can take a four function calculator for doing math. If you take anything fancier they make you dump the memory.

They generally call it a private pilot knowledge test also.
