CFI for initial CFI

Does anyone know of someone in the Los Angeles area that is an independent CFI willing to actually teach a CFI candidate?

We have two CFIs at my school (independent - mostly) that can instruct CFIs: Gene Hudson and myself. We're currently teaching a CFI candidate at KVNY. PM me for details.

We're also arranging with the local FSDO for a CFI & Applicants Safety Seminar in early August. Everyone is welcome to attend the free seminar. Details will be at faasafety.gov.
