CFI looking for busy flight school
 

Does anyone know of a busy flight school looking for instructors? Perhaps one that guarantees 70+ hours per month...

Preferably a place that offers some type of medical benefits or multi potential.

I am an instructor with ATP, and if you want multi-time, I would suggest coming here. They are always looking for instructors and at a number of our locations, the instructors are flying 65-85 hours per month. They don't offer benefits, but they do offer a furnished apartment at most of the locations.

I was told that ATP will only hire instructors that go through their full CFI program (CFI to MEI). Will they hire from outside?

It is true that 90-95% of ATP's instructors did complete some program with ATP with most of us doing the Career Pilot Program. But I do know of some who went to Riddle or DCA and came to ATP to instruct. If you are seriously considering ATP, let me know and I will tell you who to fax your resume to. If I am not mistaken, didn't I just see a post from you that said you got hired by a regional?

ctd57, which location are you teaching at? I am looking into sending my resume to the Chicago location. Do you know what type of planes and how many they have in Chicago. Also, could you tell me how to find out if they are hiring and how I would go about applying. Any info about the process would also be great.
