IHMO the CFI phase (time building) must be done quickly and with purpose. You need to get the experience (the right kind - 1,000 PIC w/ 200+ ME PIC) and get to the next step - 135 or regional F/O. You if stagnate - you'll could get lost for a while...

Go to the one that pays enough to pay your bills and that you like working at. While you want to get through fast, keep in mind that you never know what's going to happen in six months. A wise man gave me this advice and I'm glad he did. I'm only averaging about 40 hours a month, but that's going up now that I've been there for a while and the students know me. I also only have my initial. The instructors with their II are logging upwards of 100 a month and the ones that have an MEI and can do CFI training are booked over a month in advance. I got very lucky and had a job flying a 414 for a while that got me over 100 multi with low total time so the MEI isn't worth the cost, or time right now for me.

Then again, opinions are like *******s. Everybody's got one. Another wise man once told me go with your gut and do what you believe is best for you and don't look back.
