What is the LZU CFI school like? What's a good ATP CFI location these days? I noticed they closed the wonderful Vegas location.:rolleyes:

They closed cfi in arlington (GKY), only providing in atlanta and jacksonville. When i was at GKY, they had about 15 instructors, they have 4 at GKY, slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I believe the cfi program in atl is at FTY not LZU

No - I was just down there. The CFI program is at LZU. They have a BRAND new facility at LZU, it's gorgeous

Did you go to cfi at lzu, have any info about it?

Tell me anything you can remember, instructors, checkrides, faa initial, was Norm your head instructor. I went GKY, but left after three days of CFI school to take a part 91k sic gig back home. We have slowed down, so now would be a good time to go back and finish. Thanks for any info.
