place for ATP instructors...

Just wondering other thoughts from other current or former cfis's from ATP. as a former cfi of atp. ive got some interesting stories dealing w/ jacksonville. anyone feeling like blowing off some steam? :D

I do!..........

But you know how it is in the aviation industry, last thing you wanna do is blow what little chance you might have at the airlines or a flying gig because some of those people might know someone in that new job your trying to get.

I think that's why no one commented, but believe me there are some people out there.

well other than getting talked down to just about everyday. my main problem is dealing with brain dead ppl down in the "dispatch" first name starts with J ending with uan!

plus that hiring page that ATP says they r bringing in new flight instructors is an out right lie. I found a friend of mine listed on that page that finished over a year ago that is not instructing!!! it says that he started last month.

p.s. companies like ATP is the reason way unions were first organized!!!

why would they lie about that?

Funny thing about the guy who rolled the plane. He was caught because maintainance noticed the air bubble in the turn coordinator was on the wrong side. R.T. told us about it and advised to roll it back the other way!

ATP is not the reason why Unions first organized...they are one of many companies that needs "labor unionization", but they arent the reason why unions formed. Look up child labor problems from the 20's and 30's.

ATP is 'working' thru the current economic times just like everyone else is, and NO I did not work for ATP after completing their course.

Never really heard anyting nice about Jacksonville ATP, but I never had probs with dispatch either.

ATP is 'corporate America', trying to maximixe every dollar...and unfortunately people get run over in the process..

if ATP was 'corporate america' they would have about 20,000 employees not 30 or so. its a small company that acts like corporate. the amount of cfis triples that of the employees atp has.

and you didnt work for ATP. so i was hoping to hear from ppl that actually 'provided consulting consultations' to atp. aka instructors!
