Thinking about ATP.

I just have a question to anyone out there that has attended the ATP Flight School. I was wondering is there any grants out there to pay for the school, or do I have to get a loan? I really don't want to get a loan, I was just wondering about any other alternatives out there that ATP might have.

Thanks

Most grants and scholarships for flight training are for those seeking a degree in an aviation field. I won't belabor the many points of view on aviation degrees, but that what my research came up with.

My best advise is to pay as you go and don't incur any debt. My next best advise is go after as many grants and scholarships as you can and get an two year aviation degree through a local Community or small private college. Then do some kind of BS/BA degree in a different field as a back up

Gook luck
