FAA License in Brazil

If you have a FAA PPL license, can you rent and fly an airplane in Brazil?

The FCC license is already obtained.

Not sure about Brazil but I'll take a stab at it. Most countries want you to have one of their licenses to fly their planes. So if it's a PP or PT or PR plane, I'll bet you'll need something from the ANCA. That being said, many countries will "validate" the certificate from a another country. You may just have to take a test on their regs. I think Canadians just have to pass a 25 question test to get US FAA privileges.
