multiengine time share

Hi Im in San Diego and looking to get some multiengine time.I,m looking for somebody who has a multi and would like to rent it or flight with a safety pilot.Im willing to share the cost ....right now Im out of money to go to flight schools and pay $200 per hour to get the time i need to get a job.
I have almost 1000 hours and 74 multi.
Thank you:(

Unless you have a guarantee'd job with whatever multi you need to build, I'd say put your money towards an MEI rating instead of just burning holes in the sky. At least it's worthwhile flight time.

I agree. I got my MEI in the spring with the knowledge I will never use it at my school, but I got the hours and I have a certificate sticker to show for it.

My dad and I are looking to buy a twin. Thoughts on the following:
(He is an A320 driver with 15,XXX hours of ME time.)

- That makes insurance cheap
- He and I go and build my ME time (I log PIC and he is there for dual and insurance reasons) to where I become a competent MEI and get an affordable insurance rate to fly the twin solo.
- I go out and solicit other aspiring airline pilots and instruct them/ help them build ME time
- I have cheap insurance (since I've acquired the hours and own 50% of the plane) and they get a better rate on ME time since they avoid flight school mark up and training insurance rates/overhead.
- AND/OR I contract/leaseback with an FBO where they guarantee me enough $ in a month to cover my aircraft expenses and I become a contract ME instructor for them and build my ME time that way i.e. spend the winters in AZ and summers back in MN.

Am I missing any glaring roadblocks/hiccups here?
