Part 61 school in the Chicago area

Have a friend of mine who wants to take his private pilots license, who lives in Chicago.
He's only planning on getting a PPL and nothing else, no time constraints or anything.

Anyone have any top picks for a cheap/safe part 61 flight school up there?

Don't know a school, but if it would help any, I know a starving, good, CFI up there.

Windy City Flyers has locations at KPWK and 06C.

+1 for Windy City Flyers. I don't work there, but I know quite a few that do, and they're all good guys. KPWK is about 8 miles or so north of KORD, and its a great location.
