Default I'm up for my commercial oral tomorrow

What questions should I expect? Especially with Performance and Limitations.

the commercial PTS is very specific concerning what is required on the oral and what is possible. Expect to know your aircraft's systems down to a T, commercial privilages, regs., physiological factors, spin awareness, emergencies, cross-country procedures, whatever you can think of is fare game, good luck. My commercial oral was prob one of the hardest ive ever taken next to the instrument oral.

You should refer to the ASA Comm. pilot oral exam guide,it is a small yellow book that contains pretty much everything that will or could be covered. Also, get up close and personal with the AIM if you havent already, it is truly our Bible.

Good Luck

You shouldn't study much the night before, thats for relaxing. My only advice is to come completely prepared with all the stuff needed for the test all together and organized. Also, do not interupt the examiner when he or she is asking the questions, pause a few seconds, and make sure you are sure that your answer is correct. Best of luck to you!

The difference between a flight being part 91, which a newly-minted low-timer can fly, and part 135, which requires higher times than most commercial applicants have.

instrument oral was pretty easy in my opinion because most of the questions were things you should know from everyday training in the IFR environment (minimums, approach plates, charts, weather).. on IFR training flights, all of that stuff SHOULD at least get covered before and after each flight, making it easier in the long run...

now to me, my commercial written was a math test, so im eager to see what the oral and flight exam will be like

To say the least, the Commercial Oral and Flight Exam will not be anything like a Math test. Let us know how it goes ConnectionPilot!

...sorry, about my last statement. I was in a sarcastic mood...oh well! Your CPL oral is nothing but a glorified PPL oral...just as the CP written is a glorified Pvt written. By now...you should know the basics. They just want to see how well you can articulate them...plane and simple. No curve balls, by any means...

GOod luck bud. Keep us posted. Don't sweat it!
