Arrow CFI-ing abroad

Anyone out there had any experience CFI-ing abroad??? ie, not in the US.

Anyone out there know anyone who has CFI-ed or "trained" (use loosely, in accordance with all the stuff I've heard) at either Kadena or Yokota AFBs aero clubs?? Do you have to have a military affiliation?

What about in China?

Thanks.

You dont need a military affiliation to CFI there. Do you really want to? When I was there very few people took lessons...Most already had their certs and just went up on their own...You might get a few that are interested. You are better off CFIs at an aero club in the states (Military) - you'll have a lot of IFT (intro flight training) students and retired / active duty people with $$$ to burn.

I took ground school at Yokota. I spent my $$$ downtown.
