ATP Written Prep

Has anyone on here done the 1 day ATP written prep course given by the ATP schools. If you have is it worth the money and did you get good results? I meet all the requirements to take the ATP checkride except for being 23 which happens a year from now so I want to take the written soon. Thanks

Since you won't be eligible for another year why bother paying all the extra $ for a one day course? There are other cheaper options out there that will take a little bit of time and you may actually learn someting rather than regurgitate a bunch of questions. A lot of self-study softwares cost ~$80 + the cost of the exam ~$150(they went up $60 an exam recently). It's cheaper than ATP.

Even if you were ready NOW for your ATP, the one day course is not worth the money. Sheppard Air has a much better study-on-your-PC course. IT is cheaper too.

+1. Gleims study prep software is pretty good, I've used it for the ATP as well as others.

Rather than vomit out some memorized test answers, spend your year learning something and becoming a better pilot.
