Sectional Questions

I am brushing up on sectional information and ran across a few questions that I couldn't find the answer to in the AIM. Thanks everyone.

VFR Advisory Service Frequency:

The legend of the sectional has an airport comment "VFR Advsy" with a frequency next to it. The description is:

"VFR Advisory Service shown where full-time ATIS not available and frequency is other than primary CT frequency".

Can someone explain how this is used and for what? I am not sure what information is supposed to be disseminated. Also, is it automated?

Unicom at controlled airport:

I know Unicom frequencies are used for wind and runway information, but why are these frequencies listed on the sectional for airports with full-time control towers?

Not sure if they're talking about Local Airport Advisory (yeah, how many FSSs are left)/Remote Airport Advisory. Somewhere between having a tower and just calling Unicom.

How do you think the rent car appears when you land at a big airport?

Or to make sure that steamed milk was there for your quick turn.

If memory serves me right, the VFR advisory frequency is the frequency that VFR traffic should contact to transit the airspace (or for flight following) when it is not the same as the primary control tower frequency (Generally it is a 24 hour approach frequency at an airport where the tower closes at night, hence no full time ATIS).

Although a few airports have such frequencies published in the A/FD (CYYZ, KNID are examples), I can't find such references on the actual sectionals.
