Howdy Gents,

I've been making use of my new Military Comp to CFI ticket and helping a friend work towards his PPL (he's a former F-4/F-15E WSO, so a good first student/victim for me). We're plugging right along and he should be ready to take a checkride in a month or so.

My student is in the SAT area, but willing to travel for the checkride. Anyone got some recommendations on who to use (or not to use)? Not looking for Santa Claus, just trying to avoid any bad apples.
