Default ERAU Counselors

Hey guys, just wondered if anyone else has had problems with the worldwide campus counselors at riddle. I am persuing a masters degree online and they keep botching up my courses and everytime I am handed off to a new counselor, they seem lost as to what my degree program is or what classes I should be taking.
Thanks,
Nump

Glad to see the "Riddle-Runaround" is still alive and well.

I remember when I was there some dude made a killing selling bumper stickers that said that.

Price"y" yes, worthless that is a bit harsh.

I would do many thing differently if i could go back and get a "do over" but I would still graduate from there.

The "run-around" was definately over stated! don't believe me, try a state school with 10 times the students!

A state school with 10x the students has an excuse. Riddle charges 10x the $$$ and treat the students like crap. Which would explain why 1 in 50 grads donate to the university (after paying off said ridiculous debt.)

yeah, worthless in my case. I am persuing a masters in logistics and supply chain management and the more research I do the more and more worthless diddle is looking. Online tuition is pretty cheap, but, I get the feeling that I am getting what I am paying for. I'm just PO I got the ball rolling there and already wasted a term. Not to mention the headaches these people in the office are giving me.

Im not a fan of the ERAU Online - It really makes me wonder if they are in it for the "superior" education they give or is it for the profitablity. I would hate to see ERAU categorized with University of Phoenix and devry university.

I always worried about that but my experience has been great. It is challenging and I am growing alot from the classes I take. It is a little pricey though.

Everyone at the Worldwide Campus is assigned an academic advisor based on their last name. I had the same academic advisor throughout my MAS and she was very good. Are you sure you are talking to the academic advisor assigned to you and not some random counselor who is offering unrelated guidance?

I have had four different counselors for my Bachelors degree online and yes it was frustrating. I think the problem recently (past two years) was that there was a high turnover rate within that department. I am sure ERAU is also feeling the pinch of the current economic recession. If I would have done better researching myself and got a little better advice from my counselor then I could have had a double minor without taking any other extra classes.. My opinion is that it was poor to fair service.
On a side note I keep hearing that ERAU is more expensive than any other online colleges. I don't completely agree with that. Yes ERAU is more expensive than the Utah State University program but ERAU offers way more flexibility. Also, Phoenix and many other online colleges are more expensive than ERAU. I shopped around quite bit and found that I was willing to pay a little more for flexibility. It was tough going to college while working full time for the airlines.

I have been in this program for 1 term and have had 3 counselors....Time to depart. After doing a little more research last night I have found that the resources and education from riddle for my degree program are worthless compaired to other schools. No hands on training for industry software, no internship programs, no corporate recruiters....zilch!
