college credits from flying?

Hey everybody I am a senior at Oregon State, and am finishing up my commercial license and then plan on getting my CFI. Anyways I was curious if anyone knew if there is any possibility of me getting college credits from all the flying I have done. I have 5 elective credits left so it would be great if I could find some university out there that could help me with these credits.

Thank you,
Zach

Mountain State will give you up to 45 credits for FAA ratings.

Mountain State University

You are already a senior, isn't kind of late to be looking for another college for credits?

Sorry if that was confusing, its kinda hard to explain ha. I only have two quarters left until I graduate with my business degree. I have 16 more credits of business classes and 5 more elective credits, so 21 total credits left. My school will not grant me any kind of credits for my flying. So I am asking if there are any schools out there that would give me credits for flying which I would then transfer back to my school to use as part of the 5 elective credits I have left. I can easily find some random elective credits to take here at my school, but I just feel that with all the time and money I've put into flying that I deserve some kind of credits for it.

I called Mountain State University and they said I could get credit for the flying I have down towards there school, but it would be untransferable back to my school. Meaning that wouldn't do me any good :(

Embry-Riddle gives you up to 36 credits for pilot certificates. When I did my B.S., they used to give 36 credits for 500 dual given or 1000 hrs PIC. Find an Extended/Worldwide Campus near you and should be able to transfer your current college credits.

And no, you can't transfer out, get credits and then transfer back in. If you transfer to a University that gives you college credit for flying, you will end up graduating from that University.

Thomas Edison State College gives credit for certificates.

You cant do that. If you want to graduate from UO, then you are going to have to just have to take the extra electives there. Other colleges will only grant you credits for flight training or previous experience if you are going to be pursuing a degree there. These type of credits are not transferable to another college.
