Prospective Student Question

Hey all, I'm new here so I hope this hasn't been asked before. I'm from Ireland, 21 years old and want desperately to become an airline pilot. I'm looking to do me PPL with Radio Nav and IR in January in Ormond Beach, FL with Ormond Beach Aviation (www.flyoba.com). I've to get a JAR PPL as I'll be flying in Europe and not the USA.
1. Could anyone tell me if they've had any experience with OBA?
2. The PPL will cost just over $6500 on the Liberty XL2 with Accommodation, does anyone know of any other Flight Schools that'd do it cheaper with the same qualifications for JAR??
3. Also does anyone know of any scholarship programmes still in existance?? Any help is very much appreciated!!

I have read about the LIberty and it sounds like a great airplane. Ormond Beach is close to Daytona so what more can you want.

I'm not a big racing fan, and I don't think i'll have many 'off' days. But I'm sure it'll be great!! I can't wait. Now all I have to do is to arrange an interview with the American Embassy.

I wasn't thinking about stock cars, more like bikinis.

Go to falcon flight in Sanford.- Which is located north of orlando. They have great rates and a laid back atmosphere. Look em up and ask for matt or vic johnson.
