ATP -- Best Price
I am thinking of heading off to the desert, but need to get an ATP to apply. One of our guys just got on with Emirates with 6,000 TT and no 121 PIC. I am only about 1,000 behind him. He got his ATP at ATP and moved on with no problem. I passed the written a few years back and been flying 121 ever since. I am looking for an inexpensive ATP course and check ride, safe airplanes, and a good success rate?

where are you located ? I went to Action multi engine in groton and got it done in a seneca . Fast, pain less and flying the seneca was a hoot . Good MX safe , high pass rate and great guys !! Unfortunately having an ATP for me wasnt much help in getting any calls in my case .
Personally not a fan of ATP . Heard some talk of Non ATP career path students not getting treated as good as those that went the career ATP route but thats what I heard .

I second Action Air, around the nyc/philly area we send everyone up there for their multi ratings, and have heard nothing bad from those going for ATPs. I would highly highly highly recommend going there for either ME or ATP. Ryan is a great guy, and when your there, you get this feeling like your being kept in house, if you know what I mean.

O&S Aviation
You could try O&S Aviation in Asheboro, NC. Oscar has a good program and is reasonably prices. Right off the interstate so the location is good also.

Just got my ATP in December from ATP in Houston. Great experience. I felt the instructor was very well informed and presented the material professionally. Just a heads up, get the study guide and memorize it, just like they advertise. Also, if you are not familiar with the GPS they use (I can't remember which one it is) you would be very wise to get familiar with it ahead of time. The price is right too.
Good luck where ever you decide to go.
