If any school trains an international student on a visitors Visa they will be in serious trouble if caught by the department of State. They must inter the country on the correct Visa to receive Flight Training.
I guess I wasn't thinking about Department of State, not to mention TSA approval for flight training for foreign nationals. I'll edit my post.

Hillsboro Aviation has several Korean flight instructors right now. I know of 2 who recently went to Asiana with 250TT, and one who went to Korean Air after instructing for a year at HAI... If you have questions feel free to PM me.

Try Westwind School of Aeronautics in Phoenix, AZ.

They have so many Korean students as well. They also offer flight instructor position once you obtain all your ratings here.

I must disagree piloto.

I stopped by Westwind one day a couple years ago and saw the most awful act committed by an instructor. He basically belittled his student publicly in the lobby area and completely undermined his confidence. I bought my charts and exited the building. Thats why I stopped by, to check it out, final conclusion, nope I won't be flying here. The look on the students face said it all. I met another guy who was failed on a stage 1 pvt pilot check for being unable to calculate W & B in his head during a simulated engine failure. Yeah that pretty much sums it up. What a joke, During an engine failure thats the last thing on your mind, and I guarantee it's not on the checklist either!

I know that particular instructor did not represent everyone there. But it was interesting to see what I consider a big NO NO happen while I just happened to stop in a check the place out.
